I adore your chickens. They look happy, healthy and very loved. They are also obviously camera whores who know they look good. LOL. They really are beautiful though.
I haven't been around chickens outside of one lady that comes to the pet shop to host adoptions for her rescues. She's got an awesome rescue rooster named Kellog. He's totally her baby and apparently a big lap rooster. Loves being held and pet. Seems they can make great companion birds.

We have a few lap hens, but the roosters tend to shy away from contact. Still, they aren't aggressive or anything like that. They coexist peacefully, which is a little unusual.Β

Oh wow! How cute, I have a hen that looks very similar to this, however her eyes are more hazel-y yellow.
I'm not sure what breed she is, since you also have one, do you know?

I believe she's a Silver Duckwing Old English Game Bantam. It's a long name for such a small hen.

That is correct. Β Silver Duckwing is the color, Old English Game the breed, and Bantam the size. Β Another breed that can look very similar is the Dorking, but it's larger than ours.
