)Ahem, THERE'S NOTHING TO SEE HERE. You MUST click the link to see the animation. 9_9
I always forget to disable "download". It's useless, here.
The project?: "Create a 1 minute animation with two characters which must be inanimate objects. The main character must have a goal and there should be obstacles which prevent it from accomplishing its goal. The main character must figure out a way to overcome this obstacle. The main character should interact with the other character or environment to achieve its goal. In the end, the character may either accomplish the goal or not, but the story must feel like it has come to en end."
The result?: Knives and carrots and ARGH I HATE MODELING, oh my!
But I've gotten my feedback, and s'all good, I apparently didn't SUCK, and the problems are minor and fixable (except for the mysterious lack of shadows...friggin' Maya). And the music is by my dad, this time (I asked for permission from the composer, so it's all right to use! heh), so that was pretty neat/fun to work with. It's only part of the third movement of his piece, though...the whole THING is awesome... x_XYeah, that's all I've got to say. Gwah. Animation. Done with that.
AND OH LOOK IT'S MY NAME AGAIN.
Yeah, it's old news, now, whatevs.Time to get back to DRAAWWWWIIIINNGGGG things; screw this 3D crap!

Asfhdkjsgh that was hella cute. I love lil animation bits that involve parent and child moments. X3 You did good with conveying their feelings (for lack of a face, arms and general body language). Baby carrots ftw.

you have to tell maya to render shadow in the render settings and check your attributes on your lights I belive you also have to turn your shadows on their as well. The story is not bad readable and cute, you should work on showing weight in your characters and work on your timing.

You did a great job modeling the characters and environment, I know what you mean about the shadows too, I spent awhile yesterday trying to figure out all that silliness.
