Submitted for the "Nemesis" contest forAs most of y'all know, this is the lovely Cobra Unit as they appear in my fancomic "The Cobra Days"...but EGAD, it's a different style!
Gotta admit, I was soooo excited to be drawing them with NOSES! 
Well...I don't think of them as bad guys, and they really AREN'T...they're WW2 veterans, I mean, c'moooon...
...but seeing that you must battle them in MGS3, and that damn Naked Snake is considered the hero, they fall into the "nemesis" category. THUS, my submission. 
So yeah. This is them in the good ol' days (when they WEREN'T villains, nyah!
) I guess this pic takes place in 1943, the golden year for the Cobras (all six of them were active throughout that entire year)...oh, and Fury's got a little "Cobra" patch on his sleeve, and Fear is showing off his "Cobra" tattoo (for those of you reading the comic, don't worry, this'll come up and be explained eventually, we're still in 1942! 
)...and...um... Can't think of much else to say. Just. Ehh. Hotness? The Cobra Unit is (c) Hideo Kojima, from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Wonderful... The Cobras rules bigtime. But seeing The Pain here and in the game... he must have put on some weight in the game... cause he's really slim here. I can't help but to wonder how the REALLY young Cobras would have been... The End reading a bedtime story for them all while they are just babies... then he would still be in his 50s

Anyway, this is still an awesome pic... everytime I look at it I find something I like... like Sorrow's sweater... and Fury's 'badass' pose... and the shading... and yes, the parrot is teh cute.

xD It feels like Joy's protecting Sorrow or something when I look at this picture... I like the Fear and the Fury. xP Sorrow just looks so... out-of-place. He needs to go tanning. O.o But then, his skin'd clash with his hair... wouldn't it?
