Made to scale, she stands about a head higher than the standard G4 toys. She's hand sculpted out of polymer clay, with every detail carefully rendered to be as true to the source as possible. Except that I added some glitter. It's very subtle, but in the right light, if you look close enough... she's full of stars.Related content

Thank you! I think I've got the hang of making ponies now; they no longer look like Pokey from Gumby. I've been practicing both with the clay and drawing their 2 dimensional forms.

Please be more specific about her hair, what would you recommend? I made this hair by layering flat sheets of clay. I've experimented with extruded clay strands in other models. I could try a puffier, 3-D kind of sculpted hair-do, or it may even be possible to somehow use doll hair. I've heard that some hair can indeed be cooked, depending on the material. So, what are you thinking? And don't say just make it 20% cooler.

I think it's too "straight"...Luna's hair has the little "puff" on the sides,I can't really describe it.
