Here's the actual title of the pic (too long to be written and remembered). It's extracted from the Vietnamese song "Biển cạn" by Nguyễn Kim Tuấn:

"Tình em quá lớn với những đam mê làm nên oan trái..."

(English: "Her love is too large, with the passions that cause the tragedies...")

--------------
This artwork is inspired by Baroque architecture and is the 3rd in my personal series of artworks inspired by architectural styles. These are the others in the series that have been published:

Byzantine : [link]
Gothic : [link]
Baroque : You're viewing it.
(More coming in the future...)

Painted with Photoshop.
Thank you for all supports .

Such a gorgeous image, when I saw it in the Dolls poll I had to vote for it I love the colors and the interesting amount of details you included in here, the down part being kind of my favorite of the whole work. really awesome darling

Thank you so much for the comment. This is the kind of stories that I'd always like to depict via painting, even though the sad thing is that it's not suitable for commercial purpose .
How about your painting career now my dear?

Oh I am doing great, been working on several paintings that
might all take a while since I am working together on them
but then I'll have time to work on more and update my gallery
at least weekly

I started a painting of a clown yesterday, is simply horrible

you can check my last two wips in my new tumblr account here = [link]

let me know what you think, after a while I'll upload some more
WIPs, I have many but I still don't think they should see the light
of day since they still lack of shape and I feel they are like nude

I think they are all nice and you should develop the concepts with more stories and details. It's great to see you are also good at doing serious things beside your usual surreal works I've seen. I'll definitely comment more if you continue working on them .

It'd be great to read your opinions, as I told you in the
other message, I have wasted a lot of time in the process of
creating a SEMI REALISTIC STYLE PORTFOLIO for commissions but
I might stick back to my personal style from now on, I need
to bring some new stuff around, new concepts and different stuff
that are saved in my head.

thank you for your words

Well, I opinion it's never a waste trying new things, especially in creative fields like art. When you decide to try, it means you have to spend time on it and, of course, face any risk that may come. You can never know where it leads you. If you are lucky, you may discover a new way - which may even be unpredictable - for your art during the trying process.
In your case, you say that it was a waste of yours to try semi-realistic style because after all, it did not turn out better than your original style. If we look back from another aspect, I believe it's not a waste. At least you have learned that it doesn't suit you and you should do something else or stick to your personal style. Who knows, that experience may be helpful to you some day in the future. We never know!
See, you always learn something from every experience. And in art, I think it's a normal thing. You just don't need to feel upset and keep on going with what you want and long for .

p.s,: I told you those things from my own experience, as I did waste TONS of time doing different things in this world until I realized which I should take. At first, I was very upset too, since so much of my childhood was wasted for nothing. But now, at this age, I feel thankful to that experience, since it taught me to be patient and determined in working hard and following what I long for. When we do it, we may waste time. But if you don't do it, you never know what you need to change. And I believe the same thing happen to successful and famous people too haha (Thomas Edison is an example of incredible patience and determination. He got almost 3000 failed experiments before inventing the light bulb hehe). So keep up your good work man!

Oh thanks for the words, they are really encouraging and
nice to read, I have been away from my painting world but have
been doing art related things, situations that I can't help
have avoided me from continuing and this ends up frustrating me
in a ridiculous proportion, is things I gotta do outside of my
art world what keep me not getting where I believe I should be

I recently finished a new semi realistic painting, Loved to mix
semi realistic with weird looking little creatures of my own
creation, I love the result, but I am not working on personal style
paintings together with semi realistic since I have started
liking the style as well, I have found a passion on painting semi
realistic with weird looking proportion bodies and it's kinda amusing
to me, so again, you were right, the experiments worked for me to learn
more about facial anatomy and also hands so I am very happy for
having tried what I did with this experimental paintings

Asides I am being able to paint a horrible monster clown now and that's
something I would have never been able to do before since I was too
scared to do such horrible wrinkly skin, is another thing I achieved
for daring

And how have you been? anything new with your artworks?

Nice to hear from you. Just enjoy your time. You don't have to rush in art if you are not in the mood. I'm sure you'll find out what you really want eventually.
I'm fine. I have been working as a planning architect for 3 months and I love my job. That's why I don't have time for art right now, except for a quick illustration I've just done for a newspaper. I voluntarily made the illustration for them because I missed painting so much and wanted to take the Photoshop brushes for a while . It can be seen in my DAportfolio:

Hope you're doing with all your projects .

well, I took a short amount to time for myself, about a couple
of weeks to resent myself and come back to what I love doing
ART, and I was able to create something I am very proud of, I
am recently focusing on my personal style, leaving the semi
realism a little to a side, so, that's what's going on with me
at the moment.

Hope to see something new from you soon, and good luck with every
thing you are doing

This is my favorite of what you have so far. Using architecture as inspiration is, well inspired! I can really relate these paintings to the Gothic and Baroque cathedrals and buildings I have been to. And your color is superb.

Thank you very much for the comment . And yep, it was my effort to create some bizarre skintone on the girl, which is half-cartoon and half-realistic, as well as the unreal atmosphere of the whole scene.
