For Pixelbrush event 11 titled "Contrast" ([link] ). The rule is to use black and white only to create an image.Print Available : [link]
In addition. I also want to dedicate this pic to the coming Lunar New Year, so it took me a while to pick a concept. At first I wanted to do something calligraphic. But then after finding myself unable to do calligraphy, I manage in other ways and finally the pic has turned out to be this.
Dotted and shaded with Staedler pens. White ink was used for the hair highlight.

Thì quy định của event là chỉ được dùng đúng 2 màu trắng và đen (không có xám) nên chị buộc phải cho nó đậm đều hết.
Bức này nói thật là chị không có hứng lằm. Vẽ để tham gia event cho vui thôi. Được mọi người đánh giá cao như dzầy là mừng rùi.

That is very neat! I love pointalism! I find it very tedious myself, but I love looking at what others create with it. You have nice tones and gradients in there. Good work!

I don't enjoy pointing either. At first I wanted to dot the whole pic, but after getting too impatient, I turned to crosshatching at some pạrts, as you've seen. But it's true that dotting really helps make the pic more beautiful even though the lineart is not good.

Very nice work. I like how you changed the technique you used (dots and crosshatching) depending on the surface. Always nice to see traditional work from primarily cg artists.

Thank you very much for your kind comment (yup my basic art drawings at school always get low scores - one reason why I move to CG). I used to tell you that traditional art should never be underestimated and it's also the ultimate standard of CG art though
