Description Really trying to rework Eagle Eye’s design to be just a tad sleeker around the arms.
Thought it’d be interesting to give him a pre-existing injury/disability and see how that affects him in his day to day life not just as a superhero but as a person. He’s a real grease monkey and loves working on cars, but finds only using one arm extremely difficult but still fights to enjoy his hobby.

I feel this drawing will come in handy later down the road.

Did he lose his limb in an accident, or was just born with it not fully developed?

He was in a bad car accident off a bridge when he was younger, resulting in his amputation. Ironically, he still enjoys cars and hot rods, but is afraid of heights.

I just now noticed his amputated arm is replaced by a blaster cannon while in his superhero attire, and that's such a good design choice.
Also, I don't know if this has been answered in the past, but where does "GRAVY" come from? Is it an acronym for something, or just a silly team name Prism Smasher probably suggested?

Thanks! I think it’s not only a neat testament to group’s technical side, but also a good way to conceal his identity. It’s a bit like Daredevil, no one expects someone like that to be blind, no one expects a one armed guy to be a two armed guy with a canon, lol.

The term “Gravy” was slang around my friends and I while in High School that stuck around. We used it to mean everything was all good, and the person who Prism Smasher is based off of was the one that introduced it to us. We even called him “The Gravy Man” Lol.
As for it being the team name, while it is a silly suggestion Prism Smasher used that stuck, it does stand for a multitude of acronyms the team tries to come up with to make them sound more legitimate. I feel like the more we see the team figure things out as they go along, the more it really feels like they’re inexperienced teenagers.

Oh, that's really neat. I had a feeling it was just a unique slang.
Do you plan to also bring back old non-demon antagonists, like Amalgam and (technically) Robo-Mongrel?

I'd really like to!

Amalgam is probably one of my favorite non-demon antagonists, and I loved the potential concepts you had in the past for all of his Gravy Bunch weapon combinations, such as Red Archer's bow and Eagle Eye's blaster becoming a laser-shooting crossbow.

A few additional demon questions I neglected to ask in the past:
- How do demons return to Earth after being transformed into their new demon form? Are they just summoned back into the land of the living, or is their deceased body revived and mutated into their new form?
- Do demons mutate into their new form before or after returning to Earth? If after, do their bodies like absorb and become entwined with the matter that was involved with their cause of death, such as the broken parts of RoadKill's motorcycle, the rubble of the collapsed mineshaft that buried MinerTerror, etc?
- Is Brickhead's new name both Puckhead and Bullhockey, or are you currently unsure of which one to pick?
- Do you have a personal favorite demon?

I'm honestly keen to Amalgam as well, I think he'd be a pretty good non-Demon antagonist for the crew and a far more dangerous one. Combining weapons would also be a step up, plus they were fun to put together!

-Once a person dies, their physical form is no longer needed, especially if they're badly damaged. Their form is reborn, but they're twisted, mirrored versions of themselves symbolizing the way they died, so yes, part of whatever they died from is apart of them now. They are summoned, but it does take a while for them to grow and form, as well as regenerate. Where they come from, I'm not sure I'd like to reveal just yet.  Just know, Zero's is a special case, and it has everything to do with where he returned from.

-Funny Story: I was trying to decide the two, and as I sent a list of names of all the Demons to my associate, he thought out of all of them that one was the funniest, thinking it was all one name. I thought it was funny, so I have it set up where the team fights over what name to call him, but they end up sticking with both as one long, silly name.

-As I've said before, I like to draw Tarzoid a good bit, but I think the most interesting may be Swampskull just because he was the first I ever came up with.

I love the ideas your having like the disabilities because they make your Tombstone characters seem all the more human! If you ever end up pitching this to a TV network I think that stuff like that could be a great lesson towards audiences. Well done again!

Also is Eagle Eye Asian now?

Thanks! I feel as though if I was ever at the point where I could do my own show, I wouldn’t just tell the story I’d like to tell, but also the story of others that aren’t fortunate enough to be in my position.
I’m a firm believer that representation matters, and I want to tell a story about characters and the human condition. I want to do something that hasn’t really been done. I want to share the stories of others, not for brownie points or recognition, but as a way to help educate others, to make these characters relatable and feel real by showing what actual people go through everyday.
And yes, he is! I was sorta tired of having the entire crew being just white dudes, as not only would that sorta counteract what I’ve said above, but it also helps distinguishes each character a bit more. This may also tie in with a new character I’d like to develop as well.

I totally agree with you all the way. Alot of shows now focus more on brownie points and fame instead of overall good and original messaging, which is okay but only in moderation (also depends on who the show is directed at sometimes).

Anyway, who knows in the future I may be lucky enough to aid you in pitching Tombstones to a good-honest streaming service or channel that won't take the rights away from you.
I guess in that case I should probably start scrounging around money then...
