This is a stamp. Whew! Now that we have that out of the way... I must say that I am Very happy with this.

The design had to be in color with no more than 5 colors. Black, Gray, and White didn't count. The design also had to follow the official guidelines of the Postal Service.

The final subject selected to be a stamp : The Painted Desert in Arizona. [link]

Now...I toiled on this thing for a good week. At the time I kept trying to "Copy" my reference shot and make it vector.Madness. I knew the amount of work to do that in the time allotted was madding. It was Madness. Now that I have said that 3 times I can also say after a week ... I sat back. I looked at what I made using every trick that I could think of and at the time knew...It was... OK, I guess (submittable)... and I didn't like it. It was due in two days.

I made a on-the-spot judgment call. I am very proud of myself in this fact.

Instead of copying , I mimicked. Instead of realistic like, I stylized. I had my stamp... and I got an A.
Wow... what a Feeling. I was in a moment of Element.

This was by far one of my best works of the entire semester. I am so very proud of myself and thankful of what I learned.
