It is great. I have thought that the two girls were visitors in a gallery and when they saw a painting of the sea they managed to enter in it (don't know how) and became part of the picture.

This was by far the most outrageously righteous pieces i saw all year, maybe for a long time. The control and such you achieved with all the different techniques is sweet. I dig it.

Gorgeous!! How did you achieve the effect of the water, with the white waves?

well, the pure white areas i covered with this stuff called Maskoid which is kind of like rubber cement--- you apply it to the paper to keep that area white.
As effect on the water to make it look 'watery' i did a wet into wet wash with the blue and green colors then i let it set for a little while so it wasn't too wet and then i took regular table Salt and sprinkled it. The Salt absorbs the watercolor and leaves patterns like that.
If you apply the Salt when the paper is still REALLY wet from the wash the technique won't work.

Oh yes I've heard of that masking fluid stuff... *makes note to go to the art shop to buy some* Well the effect looks wonderful! And thanks for the detailed explanation
