wonderful capture! a little hard to fully focus on one solid subject, only because its difficult to see the motion as that, and not as a blur. once i read your description ans looked at it again, i can see it as you intended it, and i love it!

that is amazing! i love how absolutely clear the shot is near the branches on the bottom right and in the dark crevice near the top right. what's really crazy is how the flow seems to go right through and over the detailed clarity without in any way muddying up either aspect of the shot. a good overall composition on this shot as well: it allows the eye to flow rather freely to stopping sections (not just stopping points) and creates a direction in the viewer's attention that follows a definite counter-clockwise motion. it's funny that the flow at first seems vertical, yet on studying the motion more in depth it can be seen that the overall movement seems to go from the bottom left corner to the bottom right, to the top right, to the top left, and then back around to the source again. really a very amazing composition, and certainly more than worthy of a favorite. very impressive!
