XD right?... i actually imagin it being some god being up in space gives Maria another change to live and takes her to Remnent... maybe age her down to 5 or 6 and drops her near Beacon Acadamy where Ozpin finds her and takes her in asking who she is and where shes from, she answers most of it but some of her memory is... blury... she can remember dying but then being givin a second chance, Ozpin then sees the same colour hair and eyes as Jaune, but also the kind look and also see her potential, (i just looked up the images of Jaune Pyrrah and Maria... O-O Maria has the same Eyes and Hair as Jaune, but from what i remember from the games Maira was introduced in... she has that same kind voice like Pyrrah... kind, sees greatness in people... tell me this isn't just coincidence... the creators of RWBY, inadvertently, made Marias Parents ) he talks to Glynda Goodwitch Stating it would feel wrong to take her to an adoption school, Glynda states that he couldn't if not shouldn't take care of her, she didnt want Ozpin to worry more then just the safety of the world especially considering his biggest secrets, Ozpin smiled looking at Maria already knowing who could take care of her... Team JNPR... ok XD ill stop there before i turn this entire comment into a story

well... i stopped at where Ozpin knew one team... or specifically two people that could take care of Maria...
the door in Team JNPR knocks and Jaune and Pyrrha were the first to go and open the door and where surprised to see Ozpin with a small girl (Maria) next to him and he says that he that he wants Jaune and Pyrrha to take care of Maria, Jaune and Pyrrha look at Ozpin shocked and Jaune asked why they couldnt take her to an adoption place, not that he would say no to taking care of her... he has enough experience taking care of his sisters, Pyrrha felt she wasnt even ready to taking care of a little girl but Ozpin taking a casual but quick glance says "Maria has this familier aura around her, and a potentail she could have that she doesnt know about" Jaune looks at Pyrrha and Vise Versa, Pyrrha states she doesnt feel ready taking care of a child, she feels like she might make mistakes, Jaune says "Pyrrha, this is a little girl with no home... possibly no family... i can see it in her eyes... "Pyrrha looks at Maria as she stares back... something seem to click in Pyrrha and in Maria and Maria moves from Ozpin to Pyrrha and, Pyrrha starts to she the same feeling Ozpin saw in her... and that Familier aura he was talking about, she could even feel that the aura... felt like hers and jaunes... alot of aura inside of her, like jaune, but it also had a feeling of, her, wanting to be know as a normal girl giving people chance to change how they think of her/the world, Ozpin smiles and says "im guessing youll take full resposablilty of Maria?" Pyrrha looks at Ozpin as Maria smiles up her and grabs her hand, making Pyrrha blush slightly but nodding with a smile, Jaune even smiles seeing Maria... and cant help but feel like Pyrrha is already on her way to becoming a great Mother, a few days have past and already Maria has met the rest of Team JNPR and met Team RWBY, and even now Maria Jaune and Pyrrha still remember the reactions when there friends saw her, Nora was first and, she and Maria instently became friends, Nora even became Maria's godmom if Jaune and Pyrrha need some time alone, they were worried but Nora surprisingly was a great Godmother... even got Maria to say Aunty Nora which literally made Nora melt, when Ren (slightly tongue twist XD) met Maria, he was "kinda" forced by Nora to be her GodDad, but he actually didnt mind, he cooked her great food and even reads her a bedtime story, (btw Maria actually sleeps in either Pyrrha or Jaunes bed) Maria liked both Ren and Nora they made her smile and she really loved Rens cooking, she can barely even remember the last time she had such good food, when she met the girls in Team RWBY first being Ruby Rose, she became friends with Ruby as fast as she did with Nora, Ruby really like Maria too evne liked her name, she also like just how cute Maria was and even introduced her to Zwie, Maria loved Zwie and sometimes Zwie would sneak out of the RWBY dorm to find Maria... always manages to aswell XD when Maria met yang, she already could tell that Yang was a protective sister to Ruby, but also kinda funny, Maria considered both Ruby and Yang her elder sisters, and both sisters were happy to be considered that to her, when Maria met Wiess, Wiess would admit she was alittle surprised to see her in beacon but when she was explained by Pyrrha that Ozpin found her, she felt alittle bad for her and smiled at her, Maria liked Wiess, she had some ups and downs she easily noticed but she didnt mind, Wiess liked Maria too, something about her made her think of those time back home when Winter use to take care of her, and like Ruby and Yang, Maria had Wiess be her sister aswell, making Wiess happy and she promised not only will she be the best sister, she will help her and protect her, when it came to meeting Blake, Blake was surprised when Maria asked why do you hide your ears behind your bow, even Wiess was surprised she found out this quickly, Blake states that her kind, the Faunus's are mistreated in someplaces, and its also to hide the last since she did cruel things a few years back before she went to beacon, Blake showed her cat ears and Maria cant help but smile, she asked if she can have permission and Blake giggled alittle ad the kindness of Maria and nods kneeling down to let her reach, Maria gently and carefully pets Blakes ears making her purr slightly and Maria says her ears are beautiful and that she shouldn't hide them, Blake couldnt help but smile and curiously ask why she thinks she shouldnt hide them, this got everyone in the room there attention to Maria, Maria states that, she cant remember too much of her other life, but she had a friend who was completely different to who she was, he was so different but was like her and them, a person, sure he was geneticly created and sure he was to be a cure for sicknesses, but he was a person, a friend... a brother to her, Maria even points to each of Team RWBY and explains the similaritys from each of them, Ruby had his colours Black and Red, Wiess had his personality, cold and high up but also had the similer, when it comes to friends ill be nice, Yang had the same blood red eyes though his was perminite, and Blake and basically the different species side like him, being different comparted to everyone else, everyone who heard this, were surprised and all started to cry, especially team RWBY, even Zwie whined and whimpered and ruby basically louded "CRYING GROUP HUG" and all of Team RWBY hugs Maria, which makes her cry, Jaune and Pyrrha couldnt help but cry themselves, not only had Maria have friend, if not sisters that reminded her of her first friend and someone who she considered a brother, they kinda realised that Team JNPR was considdered Marials family while Team RWBY was her siblings, mouths have past and Maria was now surprisingly older, she had grown from 5 to 12 in those few mouths, Jaune and Pyrrha worried when it first happened, went with her to the nurse and explained what happened, Maria would start glowing a mix of Pyrrha and Jaunes Aura colour covering her and she suddenly seemed about 1 year older, the nurse says that maybe since she was told that she was, reborn, maybe her body is now trying to slightly fix itself, get her to the same age as them or to the age she was before, Maria felt alittle worried, she really loved Pyrrha and Jaune liek they were really her parents, but Jaune said no matter what happens, we will always be there for you Maria, as the mouths leading to now, Maria was getting lessons from the teachers,( i leave what weapon she had made for her in a seperate comment to make it easier to read) she learnt all about remnant, got to learn how to fight thanks to the help of Yang, Ren and Pyrrha (i think ill end it here for now... i will say what weapons she will have and who helped build them for her next comment... maybe once you reply... but other then that... what do you think?... did i manage to stay true to who each character was... where ever i got each of there personalitys from? XD)

As for having characters, in character, I'd say for the most part yes. I think keeping a little kid at Beacon would probably never happen unless there was absolutely no other choice, realistically, but as this is fanfic you can do what you want. xD

i kinda got this idea when i wrote the part in my story of how each team member of RWBY reminded her of shadow the hedgehog, someone she considered a brother, so i thought what if she had a weapon that worked similerly to how Shadow fights, so with the help of Ruby, Wiess, Pyrrha, and Ren she makes a pair of gloves and shoes that both use dust as projectiles Ruby and Wiess mainly help out there with the desing and funcinality of the weapon done with Ruby and the dust and there effect thanks to Wiess, her shoes would be similerly based on shadows but more Maria's style they used both Gravity and Fire dust when she gets a good running start make her hoverskate and reach top speeds, and with the help of Ruby since she runs fast too, helping her balance and keep control, though they can be use other dust like Ice, Lightning, etc so they are useful if she cant use her hands to fight, her gloves allow her to create Dust projectiles similer to shadows chaos abilitys like the chaos spear, the more powerful slower version the quick but weak version, even ones she can detinate with a flick of her finger, this is also where hew Semblence comes into play, one time when Maria was accidently dropped a lightning dust... dust and it surrounded her, she at first thought she would get shocked, but when she looked around realised she wasnt shocked, she saw everything going slower... even when Ruby and Wiess tried to enter even with Ruby's speed, it was slow and it wore off a coulple of seconds later, she realised she had a Aura Infused Dust semblence, allowing her to absorb a Dusts properties and using it to her advantage, to name a few, with Ice dust she can create a shield of ice around her to protect her while she recovers, with lightning dust she can speed herself up and easily out match Most opponets, this even made her match Ruby's speed, and with Fire dust she can create a big Explosion all around her , though with each dust used she has noticable draw backs, the draw back they all have in common is it tires her out especially the lightning dust one, the other drawbacks is for Ice, she cant use it every second, she needs time to get her body back to her normal temp before she can use it again, and her fire dust one slightly burns her especially if she uses it too much, her lightning dust really only makes her tired since shes moving faster that matches ruby's speed
