To keep the target from drifting do a good polar allignment and then guide on a star.

Thanks Greg. Was hopeing for a better result really...But I'll take it. Seeing was not as good as forecast and I had lots of problems with guiding. Probably should have packed it in, but have not had many nights out lately.

Good eye Ray. Some dust or something that my flats(or processing) did not get rid of. There are actually 3...time to do some cleaning of the optics

Thanks alot Ray, glad you like it. Not my best work as the seeing was not the best and I had a ton of guiding issues. Just ended up stacking all I got and hoped for the best. Wish the stars were rounder, but I did not want to waste the nights work.

Your work is getting better all the time so keep it up. I always tell people...If it was easy everybody would be doing it!

Glad I am no the only one with guiding issues! LOL If this is not your best work then I shutter (no pun intended) to think of what YOU consider your GOOD work! LOL

As to my works, yes to be honest I DO notice a difference from my first images to my later ones. The planet thing came about because I had little Mars all by itself in the middle of my desktop. It looked lonely so I thought I would play with PS. LOL
