I don't understand. When I do a search for the Catwoman you are talking about I get that image and others like it.

Nice! I'd say tas Catwoman is my favorite, but that show is my favorite version of batman (and all that goes with him), period. I recall having an issue of comic zone magazine that featured a joint interview with Bruce timm and the lady who voiced Catwoman (Adrienne something, I believe?), where she mentioned the character actually being kinda based on her appearance, but having a bigger butt. Even at the tender age of 12 or 13 I was like, 'OK, a bigger butt is juuuust fine!'

It was Adrienne Barbeau. From Escape from New York, The Fog and Swamp Thing

*facepalm*
I haven't watched the show in aaaages, and as a kid I was not familiar with her film work (nor did I care much about actors and actresses outside of a certain select few back then). Thanks for letting me know!
Also, and this may sound blasphemous, but I kinda always liked escape from LA better than new York, maybe because it came out when I was a teenager, and ran on HBO pretty steadily, whereas I /might/ have seen the first film once prior to seeing the sequel loads of times. I still want another escape movie. And I won't cry if they recast snake*, even though Kurt Russell is one of my all-time favorite actors...
*but, /not/ reboot the series. They used to be able to change actors without doing that (like batman), but everyone seems to think if ya change your lead, you have to reset the whole story these days.

I have the advantage of being a fan of John Carpenter movies through the 80s

He is great, isn't he? Even his sorta-not-so-great films are light years better than the best films a lot of directors turn out.
I was born in 1980, so I was a bit young (and didn't care about directors at all) for most of his stuff back then. I think big trouble and they live were about the only carpenter films i had really seen before I was a teenager, when I started getting into movies. To this day, I would say my favorites among his catalogue are pretty much everything he did with Kurt Russell.

Always been one of my favorite looks for her. Minimal, right what it needs to be.

Hot work. Funny enough, I heard a rumor that originally Bruce Timm wanted the TAS Catwoman to look more like Julie Newmarr from the 60s series but was forced to give her a more Michelle Pfeiffer like look because the show came out after "Batman Returns".Β

I was not a fan of the black over simplified one they used later. This was the superior design

Agreed. I didn't really like the redesign on Batgirl that came later either. Too stick figure-ish.Β

Brave and the Bold gave me a new appreciation for her classic outfit though. XD Helps that I felt they had more chemistry in that series. Like in there I felt there was a REAL chance she'd have given up a life of crime for him. BTAS always felt like she wouldn't do that. But that could just be me.
