I like the new episode...but I am kinda sad that they had so much time pass.

Yeah, and so much changed over that course of time too without any explanation...The one that ticks me off the most being Miss Martian leaving Superboy for...ugh...Lagoon Boy, especially after those two kissed after saving the Justice League on New Years & worked out their remaining issues. I understand young love doesn't necessarily last, but Miss M & Superboy's relationship overcame so many obstacles and was so important to their development as characters...So much so that them breaking up off screen just adds more salt to the wound.
Alot of missing old team members too, plus newbies introduced with little explanation or background. Nightwing was cool to see, but would have rather SEEN him become Nightwing. I did enjoy seeing Beastboy though, hopefully Cyborg, Raven, & Starfire will pop up eventually.
It was kinda interesting to see those missing sixteen hours the Justice League spent under Vandal's control comeback to haunt them, shows the baddies are capable of long term planning that can slip under even the League's radar...Though that twist will lose its power if the Legion of Doom no longer exists in this new future setting.

I'm wondering if they are doing a Raan Thanagar war homage. Perhaps the Invasion isn't an alien invasion but the reaction of Earth people to the aliens amoung them. It will be interesting to see.
