I've always hoped STAR WARS Rebels might show the characters wearing different things, but alas we don't get that. Their closets seemed to be filled with lots of the same work clothes.I don't know what Hera or Sabine might choose to wear casually or otherwise, but I just wanted to draw them looking different. So here's and attempt for Hera

Hera spending an episode wearing this hot little number from Gene Roddenberry's extensive ladies' wardrobe? Hell yeah, make it happen!Β Β Shoot, even Ahsoka got to wear a different outfit or two in her three seasons. You'd think Disney could give Rebels a little more attention in personal gear. Yeah, yeah, f/x budget, an entire season of Rebels costs as much as 1 scene from Rogue One. C'mon Disney, give 'em a different look some time. Β Β

Great outfit for Hera, and yeah, it is unfortunate that they don't get different looks for the show. It's likely due to it bring cgi, they often cut corners that way, like how the grunts amongst the Empire and Rebel forces conceal their eyes/faces behind visors or helmets etc, like the bridge officers etc.

sexy, its a shame Kanan, didn't get cybernetic eyes to see that.

The writers said they made it a point not to sexualize Hera since that was the Twi'lek's bag and I give them props for that.Β It was almost parody how so much of the SWverse stated female Twi'leks practically evolved to be slaves.Β There was a comic where Aayla Secura went undercover as a slave and found, to her horror, how natural the act felt.
While I love Rebels, I do wish they took more chances (not that Disney will let them).Β Like maybe have them do an espionage episode in a casino where the Ghost Crew all wear their dapper clothes and see the Force users rig the games like Qui-Gon did.Β Such a shame because I think season 3 is it's last season since Rogue One is now the canon Rebels origin show.Β Shame, I love it.

It always blew my mind how Kimiko from Xaiolin Showdown wore a different outfit in every episode.Β I can't name another cartoon where that happened.Β It wasn't just an impressive act from the studio but it also gave Kimi some real character.
