Nice work, almost like a mix of her BTAS and TNBA designs.

Good pic.Β Truthfully, I didn't care for this design at first (not enough sweet curves) but I feel in love with it after that touching story in the TAS comic where it revealed that Season 4 Poison Ivy was just a plant monster made by the real Dr. Isley to act as her decoy.Β It was such a heart-breaking story to see this character slowly waste away and begging people to help her keep her humanity.
It was probably the most evil I've ever seen Poison Ivy act.Β She always goes on how important we have to take care of nature but here she was, treating not only a living thinking creature, but a plant nonetheless, like it was completely disposable.Β She was acting exactly like the people she swore were destroying the earth.Β Very complex in its subtly.

Damn, I never thought the ending of that comic like that. Personally, I find her DCU counterpart to be the most compelling version of her, given her backstory. Her backstory in DCU also makes the Harley and Ivy team-up fit like a glove.

As for that DCAU comic, I've always had mixed feelings about it. Both stories were great, but the outcomes were bad. Ivy cared enough about Harley to give her company, but you'd think that after the reveal about their relationship in Batgirl's one-shot, she wouldn't be so willing to leave Harley. And then Harley ended up wanting to kill Ivy. What's worse, if you don't count "Batman and Harley Quinn" and its mini series spin-offs (which weren't very concerned with continuity anyway), that's the last you ever see of the two. So they basically just leave the readers to guess about just exactly how long Ivy abandoned literally the only human she cares about. There's a fine line between writing tragedy and destroying something good.

OMG. So, I just realized that the original Poison Ivy at the end of that comic is in her original art style. That means that despite the Carlyle clones having short life spans, Ivy's clone has a longer life span, and it's been Ivy's clone ever since the original Ivy went away on the airplane. It was Ivy's clone that was slowly becoming greener and more plant-like over time. All those adventures: the Christmas special, Batgirl's one-shot, the Harley and Ivy mini-series... it was all clone Ivy. Clone Ivy went through a temporary violent phase due to her transformations, but this whole time, CLONE IVY LOVE HARLEY MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL EVER DID. And then she died. Harley just wanted to kill her at the end, but she'll never found out she died. R.I.P. clone Ivy. I can't believe how long that plot twist played out. Now, I'm sad insteada mad. D': Perhaps it was a worthy tragedy after all.

It's weird how you drew Poison Ivy as the Batman: the animated series incarnation. While for Catwoman, you based her off the Adam West TV show.Β
I just wanted to point that out.Β

I've not drawn an Adam West Catwoman except this oneΒ Β if you mean this oneΒ Β then this is a classic golden age version of her...that never appeared in an Adam West Batman
