Featuring the dreaded Captain Pyxis!

Scourge of the wealthy of the Gaullimagne system, Captain Pyxis is a rogue serviteur that's decided to go from catering to the pampered, fleshy, mortal meatbags, to enacting revenge upon as many of them as possible. The best way he's found that seems to upset them the most is to part them from their money, which he most gladly will do with a great deal of flourish and showmanship. The amount he's managed to procure is unknown, but from what glimpses of the hoard his associates have managed to catch- its said to be near the size of a light star-cruiser. This is exaggeration, of course.

Given he's only got an appetite only for adventure and vengeance, it's likely that he's managed to amass such a hoard on the fact that he hardly spends any of it. Food and drink are hardly concerns for a serviteur- so with money only going to ship and his own mechanical upkeep, Pyxis cache has grown much faster than other ner-do-well's in this corner of the galaxy's own personal stashes. Many have tried to claim Pyxis' fortune for their own, and none have succeeded.

Despite being driven largely by the desire to topple the wealthy of Gaullimagne, Pyxis is hardly one for grudgematches. Those who've tried to kill him he's quick to try and befriend, even though it hardly works out in his favor when he does. He treats most robberies or encounters with enemies with a lighthearted, playful attitute, where winning or losing is just as trivial as the outcome of game of checkers. If anything truly frustrates him, it's getting away from a crime too cleanly and without a story to tell.

Lucky Hat
Of all the things Pyxis is the most proud of, rather than it being the massive fortune he's accumulated or the impeccable reputation for chaos hes' garnered, Pyxis instead has the most glowing pride in his lucky hat. Most see it as a sign of vanity in the strange bot, but little understand the actual value he assigns to the old thing. It reminds him of an old friend, and he's never seen without it on his head or close by his side.

To take his hat would be an invitation for him to take something just as valuable from you, and he finds this particular headgear very, very valuable.

Weapon
A number of changes had to be made for Pyxis to be able to function as a space-marauder. Initially built as a caretaker serviteur, Pyxis capabilities were mostly focused on childrearing, buttle-ing, and coming up with creative stories and games to keep the young of his owner's entertained. That creativity granted to him was perhaps an oversight, as it allowed his code to stretch further than was expected of him.

Pyxis has made a number of modifications to himself, exchanging bits and pieces of himself or grafting on new weapons- such as his sword, and more importantly, his grappling hook. Rather than choosing to go with the hook-hand that some pirates tend to do, Pyxis instead values the use of two functional hands- only that his right is able to open up into a launching mechanism when needed. This particular device is most often mistaken for a gun or cannon, but instead is used most often to pull things (or people) towards Pyxis, or pull Pyxis himself out of trouble. Working much like the links in the tail that keeps his sword attached to him, the hook is kept tethered through a string of energy that's able to launch forward, then retract the pieces back together at will. When needed, Pyxis is willing to use the extended tether as a whip to give his enemies a good smack, but finds that far less creative than using his environment to his advantage.

Family Crest
Of particular interest to Pyxis are the Cygnetias, a powerful family with a trade empire with their connections spanning the galaxy. He wears their crest proudly, and many have gathered that this is in some sort of open mockery of their failure to put a stop to his one-bot rampage against them and their ilk. Pyxis campaign seems to have been somewhat of a success.

The Cygnetias have had a bad turn of luck- starting from the death of their heir to the emergence of the threat of Pyxis, the family has been withering away slowly to the point where in some corners of the galaxy- their crest is the mark of Pyxis, not of the Cygnetia. That's exactly how Pyxis likes it.
