Description
A fast little speed paint of an old character with a new design. And new species at that! I just really wanted to paint a cat again, even if it's sloppy. More or less inspired by the little golden Bastet at the base of my monitor. I say he's an African Wildcat mixed with some oriental breed.Related content

There looks to be some Caracal in there too, I think, and some Oriental Shorthair.

LOL. I have always had an affinity for ancient Egypt. And I wasn't much of a cat person until the ferals moved in. So they have a great deal of influence over me as well. xD But I wanted to paint a cat, and I wanted it to be Egyptian looking. xD I'm glad you like it!

The eye markings remind me of a modified, upsidown version of the eye of Horus. He's so cool!

Thanks! Yeah, I was trying to keep markings simple and Egyptian while staying sorta tabby-ish. x) I actually didn't see a modified, upside-down version of Horus, though, but now that you mention it... I do kinda. lol
