Thank you! This is actually a "sketch" that I sketched over my first run (my first sketch always looks like spaghetti). The lines as my shading was just a last minute idea before I colored it. I like using lines to shade things in my sketchbook so I figured why not use it for a digital colored sketch? lol. And thank you for commenting! It really means a lot to me.

but do you use sai or something? c: I've tried to set a brush to look like pencil lead but I can't figure it out, and I'd love to know the trick. c;

I use photoshop CS3 because I'm old and outdated (not so much the first but definitely on the last part. LOL). For this I actually just used the standard 3pt round brush. I use 3 for just about all of my lines. I've dabbled with Sai, and I like it's sharp lines, but I really like my photoshop lines. :3 I think it might have to do with just how hard you press. I don't usually press very hard when I'm lining, and with this, I was just going over my messy sketch so I was trying to keep it looking sketchy, not refined.

My tablet, new and old, refuse to work with CS anything and it makes me sad I wish I could still use PS but I've grown acustom to Sai and how it works, so it's easiest for me. I'm learning how to work with it, but yah xD

Awww. yeah I don't know much about Sai and brushes. Does your tablet work with gimp? I know a lot of people use gimp and it's supposed to be more like PS. Sai's cool, though. I do like the lines.

I can't stand gimp, it's never taken to my computer, actually. it's totally confusing xD I have been really messing around to find a lining style I like, since lining becomes more and more painful for me as I draw, which is actually making me not want to draw digitally anymore. :/

Awww. Well traditional art can be quite impressive. I love traditional media. I really want to get into more acrylics and I love watercolors. I love digital art, too, but I like to dabble in all sorts of art because that's just the way I am. xD You should try watercolors or watercolor pencils! They're a lot of fun, especially the watercolor pencils!

Yeah! They're really cool! You color like with colored pencils and then paint water over them. I love to use them!

I've seen them at any art supply place I go to, really. Or hobby store that sells art stuff. You could probably look it up online, too. :3

Thanks! It was just a colored sketch so that's why it's so simple. xD I really liked the idea, too (it was my friend's idea). I just wanted to make it look as silly husky-ish as possible. lol
