Fleet general Lumpy booted an open com channel and spoke to the enemy. "This is a message for Intergard High Command, and to all those who still stand with me. Intergard, your conquest of the universe has seen worlds burned, species exterminated and whole cultures erased. We are all that is left now. There is no home for us to go back to, no families waiting for us to return. So, on this day against fearful odds and as we wait for certain death we deny your victory! Even at a cost to out own!"

And with that, every single ship in the Alien Resistance fleet lit its Hyperlight Go-Drives and set course to ram The Purifier. It's defense systems engaged and obliterated almost all of them in a single moment. But it didn't matter, all it needed was a single decisive hit. A small craft, possibly of Plummie design made it's mark on that day. The Purifier's Chaos-Reactor bent, buckled then burst, sending a supernova of coruscating pink light across the void burning away everything in it's path until it along with the last trace of alien life finally fizzled out.

From that day mankind would rule alone in the universe, but it's pride was forever wounded.
