Description
Through the lenses of the sunglasses, Nada can see that the world is controlled by a powerful alien race, who use subliminal messaging to keep the human population in a state of submission. The billboards, magazines, and television programs that were once thought to be harmless are now revealed to be tools of control, designed to keep humanity in a perpetual state of ignorance.
The aliens themselves are grotesque, with sunken eyes and grotesque features that are reminiscent of demons. Their true nature is revealed, and they are shown to be manipulative and cold, with no regard for human life.
As Nada fights back against the aliens, he is forced to confront the uncomfortable truth that the world as he knows it is not real. The film is a commentary on the power of mass media and the dangers of complacency in the face of tyranny.
