Vigilant
“I’ve always got my guard up."
Astrenia was a careful lioness who worked in the Roman Military for most of her life, and as such pressed a deep sense of necessary guardedness into her daughters. Sagi has a tendency to set her mind to problems and situations with a careful eye and steadfast nerve. While not hyper-vigilant, Sagittarius is not the kind of feline to go out of her way and accept everything for what it is. She’s always mindful of others intentions and can be at times a little too cautious for her own good.
On the flip side, due to this, she has a good sense of when others may be lying or causing trouble. She’s capable of discerning other’s motives and intentions on the fly and, if she knows them well enough, is capable of calling them out and holding them accountable for their actions.
Serene
“I’m not much for yelling."
Sagittarius is relatively even-keeled as far as her personality goes. Much like her mother, she doesn’t have a likeness for yelling or flying off the handle. This doesn’t mean that she doesn’t think with her emotional brain, she’s just relatively easy going and doesn’t let little things work her up. She’s seen as very lax and at ease because of it.
Carefree
"Worry about food? Why would I do that?"
Growing up around humans has given Sagi the benefit of being able to not worry about where her next meal was coming from or how she’d keep warm for the winter. She’s got a lot to learn about empire life, but for the most part, she’s content to just ride along for the journey and isn’t going to go out of her way to be anxious about events out of her control.
Reticent
"Hmm? Oh it was nothing.”
Sagittarius sometimes struggles to reveal her thoughts or concerns with others. It’s taken a long time for both Shor and Scip to get her out of her shell, and even then there are definitely days where it’s clear her head and heart are somewhere else even if she isn’t willing to talk about it. While not necessarily a loner by nature, it can be hard to connect to her due to her lack of will to be forthright with others. She’s working on that though.

"That’s not what I’ve heard for the rules.”
Being a military brat means that scheduling and rules reign supreme. Sagittarius needs structure to work and struggles with any lack of either… which is amusing considering the fact that she’s with Scipio, the king of chaos. She keeps a tight ship on her end and tends to be the mother hen to her two mates. This need for rules and schedule is part of the reason why she wanted to become a den parent… while cubs can be little bundles of chaos, their needs a pretty straight forward and can be easily followed if you know what to look for.
Nurturing
"I’ll get you some food.”
Sagi likes to care for others and often is the kind of cat to go out of her way to welcome more in for a meal or a humble get together. While she isn’t always the most charismatic of her little trio, she does often tie things together by being a family player that likes to ensure others are thought of when they’re feeling down or low.
Sagittarius was born on a cold November morning to a mother in mourning. Her mother and father didn’t get a chance to raise their children together, as it was thought that her father had passed away during a battle that had taken place a month or more prior.
You see, her parents were military felines, which meant that it was almost expected for her father to leave out on a campaign mere weeks after her conception. She was raised along by her mother, Astrenia, and grew up in a relatively rigid if not exemplary lifestyle on the road in the military.
That is until about six years ago when she met Scipio and Shor and got tangled up in their little mess. She’s been happily entangled in this little trio ever since. It should be noted that she also found out that her father was alive right before this which is what caused her to meet up with her two loves and start this whole story in earnest. Scorpio, her father, hadn’t died and instead had just gotten lost and had lived in a place known as Shadow Empire for a time. Who knew?
With little to write home about in her childhood and adolescence, Sagi’s life was going just as she expected it to be, keeping both Shor and Scip on a short leash while still learning to live and love life with the two of them. It was only recently when things sort of went sideways, as Scipio and her both got blown off track during a bad snow storm, leading the two cats back to Scipio’s childhood home.
It’s here in Ice Empire where her story begins as a wild cat. The bonus here is that she at least has some of Scipio’s family to talk with… and they don’t seem to be as bad as she expected.

The lion was not surprised to hear of the decision Andromeda had made when it came to name the silver gladiator. Aglaia had risen to the occasion while she was gone, and although Brutus had known that at some point he was expected to be silver... he was completely fine in not being that choice. The tigress was much younger than he was... and more than likely going to survive longer than he or Andromeda would.
It was sad, ever since Soren had died, death had been a constant burden on the lion's shoulders. The calls died out, and in that time, the lion was able to see Andromeda move from Skycaller's Rock. It was strange of the white lion to see the snow leopardess coming from a place he associated with the fiery lynx he had become good friends with, but all the same, he had always known this day would come. Soren had always been a fighter, and with that kind of spirit, it had always been likely that he would die in the lines of battle over that of quietly in his nest... Though he knew how much it tore Andromeda apart.
He had always thought the two of them would eventually be together as a happy couple, Soren and Andromeda, especially with how Andromeda had been so close to the little cub Soren had brought home with him all those moons ago... back when the hunters hadn't nearly doubled in force... before Abiola had died. Brutus would never admit that he knew who's cubs they were; the markings around young Ryusei's eyes were too much like another snow leopard Brutus had known... Nedria.
It wasn't hard to guess, though Soren had eventually admitted it to Brutus... if his memory served correctly.
"Andromeda" His gruff voice called out as the other felines milled away. "I approve of your choice... not that it matters." It seemed strange talking to her as a friend when she was now his leader, but Brutus pushed that thought away. He had treated Soren as a friend, and she had been a friend when she had been only a silver... what had changed? Other than Soren's death... "Do you want some company... maybe to go out on a patrol of the territory?" If it had been any other time, he would have said stroll instead of patrol, but he doubted being lax at such a time as this would ease the snow leopardess any. Andromeda was too serious for that kind of matter... and a times, he himself was the same as well.
This was going to be a hard couple of months on the two of them. "If you don't want to, I understand, but I figured that you would need the company..." He glanced away for a moment before quietly adding: "We have both lost a great friend... maybe even something more... I figured you would want somebody to have a heart to heart with. As a friend, you know I'm here for you if you need it."
