"Keep an eye out, I heard something"

Nori was trained from the get go to become a hunter (now warden) within the city. His master had no stock in anything other than prepping him to become a hunter, and as such he taught the feline to pay attention to all of his surroundings. With that being said, he was actually already pretty used to being alert, as working on a boat often meant he had to keep an eye on things. He's good at paying attention to detail and is always ready to respond to danger in a moment's notice.

Critical
"This could've been done better."

Some would think that Nori is just critical of himself but no, he's critical of everybody. As a cat who has had to claw his way into the position he is now in (not really, but he likes to think of it in that light), he often times likes to point out the flaws in others as much as he does himself. He believes that getting things done right is more important that caring about what others think about you.

Selfish
"I'm only looking out for myself"

Helping others isn't exactly in Nori's interests unless it helps him out in the process. He's very much so the kind of cat who is looking out for his own best interests and if yours happen to align, great, but if not, you're out. He has little patience for cats who think that working together is better than managing on your own, and while he will go out and hunt with other cats, he'll still find a way to make it work to his favor in the process. He likes doing things that he wants to do.

Vindictive
"They'll pay for what they did."

Even though he didn't lose anything during Ragnarok, Nori is determined to make the felines of the empires pay for what they did to the city. He wants revenge against these felines who attacked his home and wants to bring them to justice, no matter the cost. They deserve to be behind bars for all he is concerned

Competitive
"I'll get more out of this than you will."

Probably because Nori was taught by a lot of old school hunters, but he doesn't take well to cooperation. He wants to be the best or at the very least wants to prove that he's worth something by fighting for what he can do. He sees every challenge as a goal to meet and will force himself to his limits in order to get what he wants and prove that he can win.

Driven
"I'm going places"

Nori doesn't want to become an elite, but he wants to be well known by the wardens for what he does and how he handles himself. He's got a chip in his shoulder because of his size and doesn't want anybody to treat him as lesser because he's a tiny cat. He's here to cause trouble and get felines captured. If anybody gets in his way there will be hell to pay.

Calculating

"We should consider our next step carefully."

Taking the time to think about what needs to be done and how is important. Nori is always trying to think three steps ahead of his opponents and enemies to ensure that he gets what he wants the way he expects to. He considers his options before jumping into a fight and makes strategic friendships that can benefit him in the long run. He's not here to play simple children's games.

Background

Before Ragnarok, Nori was a simple cat doing a relatively simple job. A dock-cat by trade, he often times helped his master move various goods and services across the world without a second thought. For three whole years he had done this, that is, until the city literally went down in a blaze of fire.

With the attack on the city, his old owner's business went under, and with it, he had to sell his favored helper to the highest bidder in the hopes of keeping his family fed.

Nori was purchased with the purpose of becoming a warden in mind by his new master. With the reconstruction and reorganization of the hunters, the man who had come to now own Nori decided it'd be best to train him up and get him to prove himself as a candidate for the position. With no prior apprenticeship formally recognized, Nori joined the Warden's ranks as a feline hunter in mid-winter of 39 BC with the hopes to destroy the felines who had taken his previous life from him.

He often thinks back to that night. In the midst of the blazes, he had found himself in a position he would've never considered possible as of a few days before. His master's boat in blazes and the docks heavily destroyed, he had faced off with a few escapees without a second thought. Outside of his training, his skills in battle in those brief moments helped him land the position he now sits in. Although it's not common for such small cats to enter the ranks, they seemed to make an exception for him.

He doesn't plan on letting the program down any time soon. Upon acceptance into the hunter program, Nori set to work, prepared to fight and prove himself to whomever questioned his abilities.

He's out here to capture some felines and do the dirty work nobody else expects him to complete. His story starts here.

The lion was not surprised to hear of the decision Andromeda had made when it came to name the silver gladiator. Aglaia had risen to the occasion while she was gone, and although Brutus had known that at some point he was expected to be silver... he was completely fine in not being that choice. The tigress was much younger than he was... and more than likely going to survive longer than he or Andromeda would.

It was sad, ever since Soren had died, death had been a constant burden on the lion's shoulders. The calls died out, and in that time, the lion was able to see Andromeda move from Skycaller's Rock. It was strange of the white lion to see the snow leopardess coming from a place he associated with the fiery lynx he had become good friends with, but all the same, he had always known this day would come. Soren had always been a fighter, and with that kind of spirit, it had always been likely that he would die in the lines of battle over that of quietly in his nest... Though he knew how much it tore Andromeda apart.

He had always thought the two of them would eventually be together as a happy couple, Soren and Andromeda, especially with how Andromeda had been so close to the little cub Soren had brought home with him all those moons ago... back when the hunters hadn't nearly doubled in force... before Abiola had died. Brutus would never admit that he knew who's cubs they were; the markings around young Ryusei's eyes were too much like another snow leopard Brutus had known... Nedria.

It wasn't hard to guess, though Soren had eventually admitted it to Brutus... if his memory served correctly.

"Andromeda" His gruff voice called out as the other felines milled away. "I approve of your choice... not that it matters." It seemed strange talking to her as a friend when she was now his leader, but Brutus pushed that thought away. He had treated Soren as a friend, and she had been a friend when she had been only a silver... what had changed? Other than Soren's death... "Do you want some company... maybe to go out on a patrol of the territory?" If it had been any other time, he would have said stroll instead of patrol, but he doubted being lax at such a time as this would ease the snow leopardess any. Andromeda was too serious for that kind of matter... and a times, he himself was the same as well.

This was going to be a hard couple of months on the two of them. "If you don't want to, I understand, but I figured that you would need the company..." He glanced away for a moment before quietly adding: "We have both lost a great friend... maybe even something more... I figured you would want somebody to have a heart to heart with. As a friend, you know I'm here for you if you need it."
