Description Fellow artists, human artists and AI artists, join me in this peaceful celebration, rally and anti-protest of AI technology and AI generated/altered/processed/manipulated art!

What a wonderful time to be alive, where the elitist gatekeepers are being torn down and the world of artistic creativity is becoming more accessible to everyone. In the future, you will be able to create a whole movie or even a video game, simply by calling up Siri (or some other virtual assistant) and speaking to them what you want to see and create, describing your artistic vision from your mind, giving it very specific creative and directive instructions and having the technology manifest a concept for you. It's really not that far off already if you've been plugged in to the space and seen the latest stuff. Exhilarating.

Of course it'll probably never be quite as magical or full of charm that a work of art created painstakingly and manually by hand by a sole individual or a group of funded departments can create - and the latter will always have more value for this reason. If anything, the creation of the distinction adding value to traditional art is a benefit, so the only people actually salty about this are those who are not satisfying the consumer with their traditional art (because, it sucks, apparently) and also refuse to incorporate digital manipulation (photoshop etc.) or AI into their workflow, stubbornly sticking themselves in the mud and wondering why they are not moving forward, and then projecting their failures and insecurities against the latest vogue of attack target; the AI artists.

Shoutout to all the traditional artists who love to draw, but also love photoshop, AI and digital art as well, you are the shining beacon of hope that will help dispel the ignorant fear of the anti-AI protest movement, who sadly, really don't understand the technology or how it works and have bought into all the false viral fearmongering and are just parroting these fallacious talking points like a cacophonous echo chamber of insecurities. It's up to us to educate them, it's the only way to dispel that fear and reveal the truth.

Not all AI art is created equal. AI doesn't steal from anyone, in fact it copies much less than a lot of human artists do, and it'd be pretty shitty and boring software if it didn't. The fact it doesn't it one of the reasons it is so popular. Inspiration does not equate to theft. The public domain has no expectation of privacy.  The technology is here to stay, it's not going anywhere, it's only going to get bigger, better, stronger, more popular, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Innovation and progress should not be faltered, it is the way of the world. Do not be so immature as to direct anger towards those who chose to go with the flow of time, accept the inevitable changes and adopt new technologies.

Honestly, the majority of people protesting right now is mainly due to the bandwagonning hive mind, the herd mentality, and propaganda. Most people doing it actually have no idea about how the tech works, they've just believed whatever they were told without investigating the technicalities for themselves, they have bought into fear-mongering online articles written themselves by people who did not know what they were talking about, sowing fear, uncertainty and doubt. And now everybody is scared and upset over something that is relatively harmless, and something that could actually benefit them greatly. Ignorance spreads like a wildfire unfortunately.

In time, the fear and outrage and controversy will fizzle away, just like it did when everybody thought photoshop would destroy the art world and that digital art wasn't real art. This is just the next step, and there may be many more big steps like this in our lifetime, so get used to it now, grow up, let people do their thing and create art the way the want to. Art is subjective, you don't get to decide what art is and impose that as some absolute, so stop being so arrogant, self-entitled and judgmental and leave AI artists alone. The discrimination is disgusting, honestly. - Funny how so many progressive people, liberals, LGBT+ people and similar types are always ranting for equality and acceptance and want people to be progressive and get with the times, oh, until that 'progress' seemingly doesn't benefit them in some way (whether that is actually true or not), then there is a big protest and they all stamp their feet and throw a tantrum, and throw vitriol at people who are just having fun and creating beautiful images for everyone to enjoy.

Fucking get over yourselves. lol

In the future, perhaps i will go into greater detail and do a more educational piece, non-fiction writing has always been my forté. I also might do a little article on the future of AI and show people what's coming down the pipeline, because it's simply incredible. Truly, we will seemingly reach a time soon where any kind of media we can imagine, a story, a game, an image, some music, can be quickly brought to life by a FREE concept artist in your back pocket. It'll be somewhat crude, but the accessibility of it will far outweigh any drawbacks. It can also be used to give us ideas, for a new technology, a design, a new sport, a new product, anything really. Maybe we do 95% of the work ourselves, manually, and let the AI just fill in the blanks and finish it up, or maybe we input only 5% with our creative direction, simply from a linguistic prompt, and let then AI work out the rest for us. And MAYBE those measurements will become significant in some way and integrated into how we present or sell our ideas, or maybe, much like it is right now, it won't be important and the finished result will take precedence over the creative process. Who knows. That's honestly for the economy, the consumer and the industry as a whole to decide. Again, another reason to leave AI artists alone, because if it just so happens that the consumer prefers AI art over whatever traditional art you may be making, that's an issue to take up with the consumer, on a social basis, not the supplier. If you fail to market yourself and can't beat a machine that can barely draw a human hand properly, that is a YOU problem. Don't take it out on people who are capitalizing on an opportunity. Either get good, get better at drawing, get better at digital manipulation, get better at marketing your product AND/OR adopt the new technologies into your workflow and use it to your benefit instead of crying and wiping yourself out, then blaming your own faults on others. C'mon, be reasonable.

Say yes to all forms of creativity, say yes to the future, say NO to discrimination and SAY YES TO AI ART!
