This overwhelming feeling,
goodwill towards the world,
I know cannot last, but now,
while it does, I will bask.

I will give thanks for that,
which I have been given,
for the friendships and family
that support me through,

through the madness which
is this crazy big world,
that I am blessed to exist
within, in, around, about.

Perhaps I believe in too much,
especially the good in people,
but I cannot believe less,
it is against my nature.

It was a beautiful day,
now it's a beautiful night,
Feel your life, revel in it,
know that you belong somewhere.

This is your life, your only,
believe that it is beautiful,
and maybe, just maybe
it will become so...

Perhaps if you believe,
perhaps if you can find it
within yourself to give
thanks, it will be better.
