InTwilight — Spotting Similarities: Aurora

Description Woot! actually got this finished!

As you can see it's another one for the Spotting Similarities bit (which might turn into a thing if I can find more "important" images to throw the Disney characters into ) So, this one's less obvious, but can any of you guess who it is? I'll give you a hint: the real woman of the family was one of the more beautiful stars of the 1950's. ^_^ I got to do a report on her in the 5th grade! Not that any of you would be helped by that bit of info

Anyway, here's Philip, Aurora, erm... *goes off to find names* OH YEAH!! Prince Stephan (the second, since he's named after his grandpa) and Odette (she used to be Dawn so as to follow the original story a bit more, but the name was driving me nuts so it's been changed ). Getting the legs to look right was a right pain in the behind! lol And everything looks incredibly stiff! Urgh. Oh well, I'll do a better comparison someday...

New Clue She had a real cinderella theme to her life, seeing as she grew up in Pennsylvania (I think...), went to the glamour of Hollywood, then married a prince---in real life! Isn't that astounding?

In my headcanon, Aurora and Phillip have three sons- in order, Antonius, Ezekiel and Matias. I took time to give them each a unique personality. Antonius is the super-athlete and fighter, Ezekiel is the intellectual bookworm, and Matias...well, he's much more complicated.

I like the picture! Persephone would've made a good name, too-the birth of spring out of winter and all of that. After all, the twin girl was the one who broke the spell in the original.

Ooh good choice of name! Though, in the tales I've delved into, it was the boy who woke her doesn't really matter since I've spurred from the Disney version lol I'm glad you like the picture, though!

Actually I have I faved some of the stuff and read the descriptions for most. I really enjoyed when you had them as little kids with their parents. I always like to imagine DP with their little children

Well so far I only have the beginnings of a story that's kinda setting the scene---It Happened in a Mousedom [link] which focuses on an almost OC called Jenny Doe (as she has no memory, but was discovered by Jane Porter {from Tarzan} and thus couldn't be called "Jane Doe") I'm trying to hammer that story out before I go playing with the kids, but we'll see how long that resolve lasts since I've already got part of a story surrounding the elder kids and a game of Robin Hood being smattered together....

Ohhh sounds interesting! I'll have to read that beginning I'm curious, how did you come up with the title? That's a good plan, I do the same with mine. You should see my binder. It's full of notes and fanart

Well, I set it within Disney World. lol umm... I'd thought of setting it up in the real world, but that would have gotten REALLY complicated, plus I did the Walt Disney World College Program back in sophomore year at university, so I kinda knew how I'd make the whole "Empire" work as a real place. And then I figured that, yeah, Cinderella and Charming have the large castle, but really, the whole thing "started with a mouse" so Mickey and Minnie really own the place, but would prefer to do without the baggage that comes with being royal. So they let Cindy and Char take over that bit. Then EPCOT, Studios, and Animal Kingdom are all divvied up into quadrants that are ruled by other important characters.... I put too much thought into things. and that's without trying.

lol oh no I'm not! I'm just as bad if not worse. It's just that I've made the agreement with certain friends, once I've posted, there's only very minor editing. The only exception is Angelina's story (from Harry Potter) as I've scrapped half of what I wrote because it strayed way too far off topic lol

lol aww, I'm really not that good, but thanks! and close, but no, though that would be an idea and I definitely agree ^_^.... This actress acted in the early 50's mostly, but had to drop acting for the new route in her life... yay for crypticness!
