Yay!! I found my orginal sketch of the Winged Unicorn I painted on my jean jacket!!Thanks so much to one reviewer I found the name of the Reference, Sue Dawe, who did the pegasus first (saw it on a folder one day during my travels) and did my own verison.

I know, she writes her name real small and faded into her work. You just KNOW her stuff, but her name is always at the tip of your tongue, aye? It's so annoying when that happens. You WANNA credit the original artist but the name won't come to you!
Me I recognized the pose right away, I got the original pegasus as a frame in my bedroom.
I love her stuff and you did a great job! (It's DAMN obvious it's referenced, not traced.)

I know! I should have been smart and written down her name from the picture I saw or at least purchased the folder! Can you believe I did it by memory?!

i adore this! i've been collecting unicorns for as long as i can remember (probably to the relief of my mom, she was thinking i'd go after horror movie dolls) and this is beautiful. the flick of light in the eyes and the soft feathers make it come alive.
