Day Seven Brings us some Princess Tutu fan art (finally). I was having trouble figuring out something Christmas and Tutu related and then I remembered "Nutcracker, duh!" So I drew Rue as the Sugar Plum Fairy. I wanted to draw her in a costume styled after the Washington ballet's Sugar Plum Fairy, but I couldn't find any good pics of it, so I just made one up.I used this pic for pose reference.

I drew the lineart by hand and colored it in Photoshop. After that I used a texture and messed with the blending options until I found one I liked.

Sugar Plum Fairy is my absolute favorite. Princess Tutu is my favorite anime. Therefore, this is a beautifully rendered combination of two of my favorite things. You just made my day!
