I drew a pic resembling this 2 years ago so I decided to redraw it to see how much I have improved.Some people have done something to Inuyasha. He had run off one night and when he came back he was different. He is not the same as he used to be, like he isn't all there. He also can't speak. Kagome tries to disguise him long enough for them to figure out what to do.
She dyes his hair black and his ears. She had his hair up in a pony tail because she didn't want to cut it, but Inuyasha didn't like that idea either.
Inu also doesn't want to give up his firerat kimono. He may not be all there but for some reason something inside him is clinging to it.

AWESOME but Inuyasha has black hair in his human form but not the dog ears. He only has the ears in his demon form. Ever since I read Rumiko Takahashi's book 'Inuyasha Profiles' & realized just how INCREDIBLY INVESTED she is in her characters & how much she dislikes people taking liberties with them I've become some kind of a strange 'purist'. It's an INCREDIBLE book & written by the creator of Inuyasha there's really no arguing with her. She's AWESOME. If you read her book you would think the characters were real people. That's how she feels about the characters from Ranma and from Inuyasha. If I could ask her one question it would be why does she seem to have so much more invested emotionally in Inuyasha than she does in Ranma? I've only seen Ranma through a couple of times as I can't find a Japanese version right now. All English dub and if you ever have the chance get Inuyasha in Japanese with the English subs. You'll be really surprised at how bad the dubbed versions are and some of them are absolutely NOT what the character said!
Sorry for running on but I love this show and your work is AWESOME. I'm glad I found it. It's the first time I've seen your work but you should be an animator. You're really, really good.

This quote was taken directly from the description. Kagome dyed his hard to help him blend in and to make him look different. This back fired though because of Inuyasha's refusal to remove his firerat kimono.
I don't mind the paragraph, I love that Takahashi is so invested I too am like that, not to her extent she is so much better at characters than most people. I don't know if you have looked at any of my other pictures but I write long descriptions and stories for like everything. My problem is I write the story after I have dran the picture.
I'm glad you enjoy my work. I can't be an animator because I find it hard to repeatedly draw the exact same person multiple times. So comics for me are a bit hard

I used an InuYasha skin for minecraft. And being a fan of both IY and Ranma 1/2, I wanted to mix them both, or simply a black haired Inu, but still hanyou. I later changed the skin for him to have black hair and then I found this a few weeks later. I think it looks awesome, better than the blocky version that I have, lol. Excellent work, as well!
