I got the dea to draw this from a fanfiction named Forced Contemplation. It is really great fanfiction about how Sesshomaru put himself in the line of fire to save Kagome because she had saved Rin. Hakudoshi sent a blast out and Inuyasha and Sesshomaru added in their own blast but the combined power was combined and then thrust towards Rin. Kagome tried to save her and block the blast with her bow like she did with Tsubaki. Sesshomaru rushed over and got Rin out of the way then put sheilded Kagome. He got pretty banged up in the process and the ground caved in. Now him and Kagome are trapped in an undergrwound cave.
Eventually it started to rain and Sesshomaru got cold. Kagome had offered to let him borrow a flannel shirt, he refused at first but now he asked for it again.Β

You captured the picture I had in my head perfectly when writing this story.Β I hope you enjoyed reading it.Β Β That was my first attempt at writing fan fiction and I should probably go back and rework the story to make it easier to follow.Β I didn't have specific injuries for our dear Demon Lord, simply that he was chewed up in a similar manner to when he was struck by the Windscar and recovering in the forest.Β Kagome's powers were out of control and interfering with his ability to heal.Β He had to teach her to draw in her aura so he could heal enough to get them out of their mess.Β Would you mind if I created a link to your picture from my story?Β

sure go right ahead yay that would be really awesome. I enjoyed the story so much and something minor, well some might call minor but I am very glad that in the story you didn't make Inuyasha older than what he should be. Some make him act older and say he's 250 when in fact he is 150 although he was born 200 years ago.Β
Now about the main characters I think you did very well in keeping them in character and I think the story flowed just fine yay. I read it a while ago and I really loved it but I couldn't find it again and I was so happy when I clicked on a random story and read the full summary. It was the story I had been looking for yay.
You are a very good author you did an awesome job. Oh I want to draw where Kagome was daydreaming about curling up with dog Sessh on her bed. I don't know when I will do it but I want to do it soon yay. I will tell you if/when I do do it

I always loved writing her random, concussion-induced, daydreams.Β Please let me know if you do draw any scenes.Β I think your picture actually sparked a renewed interest in the story as seen in the increase in viewer statistics. Β

One of my favorite Sess scenes is chapter 12 when he collapses the tunnel while he's testing the roof for an escape route.

Β "Coughing at the added particles in the air, Kagome was stalled a moment before she rose to search for her companion. In that moment, the white haired demon emerged from the dirt spewing tunnel to look around with disgust. He didn't look directly at her as he commented, "The tunnel is collapsed in this direction." Her look of shocked realization was hard to miss, even though he tried to look elsewhere to maintain his air of dignity.
He turned to Kagome and motioned, "Tend your injuries. I shall return shortly." And with that he vanished down the left tunnel. As her mind finally caught up with current events she yelled after him, "Don't collapse that one too! I'd like to get out of here today." She thought she heard a growl echo through the darkness, but it was so quiet, she couldn't swear she heard anything."

Another favorite scene is InuyashaΒ demanding to ride Sess's dragon. Aw, who am I kidding.Β I love all the scenes.Β : )Β Especially Kagome's fascination with Sess's fluff!

Woah that's awesome about the increase in views I'm happy to help I love your story it was so great. That gives me inspiration to draw more scenes yay I don't know when though.
Yeah I also think that he is just a boy and he is so unsocialized the poor kid. I am reading the manga because I have never read it and in that they call him a child a lot. He really is only 15 and even at the end of the show he is still only 15. I feel he is young and trys to act to tough to put on an acct for the others yay.Β myLink'sLady Β on fanfiction.net is aslo a good author who gets his age and mentality right. They write mainly Inuyasha/Sesshomaru brother fics. I like the brother fics and Sessh/Kags. I used to like Inu/Kags but when I found sessh/Kags I feel in love and don't want to go back.
Yes I love that scene where he collapses the tunnel it was funny because Sesshomaru doing something bad or something but it was an accident I kind of felt sorry for him. I like it when he does stuff that's not perfect and he makes mistakes it shows that he's not immortal or something like that.
Oh that's cool to know I didn't know that I will be sure to read it yay.

Poor Sesshomaru, to be so injured that he would be getting cold.Β Actually, Kagome, you might want to keep an eye on the poor guy.Β If Sesshomaru is getting cold he might be in serious trouble.

Yeah he lost his armor and like all his clothes were shredded Kagome gave him some sweats and the shirt. The sweats weren't long enough but hey it was better than nothing an it covered his private parts.
Β Yeah he is seriously injured he can't move that well and his only arm is broken too. Kagome's lower half (waist down) is under some rocks or wall that she has to dig out. She can't really move from that spot either. They are 3 feet from each other though. She actually put the shirt on him because of his broken arm.
Yeah he got cold because it had rained and the air was cold. the ground was wet and so were they. Sessh had a plastic sheet to lay on, Kagome gave it to him and he took it begrudgingly, the sheet she usually uses to put under her sleeping bag to keep it from getting wet. Kagome herself just has a raincoat to keep dry from.
