  Izaya has the ability to manipulate wind. He must first see the flow of air before controlling it. This is why he carries a pipe around. He will use smoke from this pipe to make a cloud of smoke to test the wind. The wind is controlled by the movement wings. His wings being too small to fly he uses his Magic to give him flight. The Stronger the wind the stronger his magic, the calmer the air, the weaker. Using too much Magic usually causes him to lose his breath and become lightheaded.

Izaya doesn't show much with his lack of expressions but can be blunt and honest verbally with his emotions or beliefs. He will remain mostly quiet but actually enjoys company. He would prefer to watch people and figure out their personalities rather than speak to them. Despite being honest or people-liking Izaya doesn't open up about himself very easily. He finds it difficult to form bonds and sees it pointless to make any if he is going to move around often. The only kind of bonds he seems to form is a teacher and student kind. He has passion when teaching others his own passions. He may seem a little intimidating but is actually quite harmless. It takes a lot to rattle Izaya emotionally (except for a fear of the dark of course). He does not like violence but isn't afraid to step in to offer help. Preferring peaceful environments he will usually move to another village without a word to avoid future conflict.

History:

When Izaya was very young his Parents were discovered and hunted by Poachers for their wings. Desperate they left Izaya on a mountain inhabited by the Tengu. It was unknown what happened to his Parents but the Tengu raised him as one of their own. He lived here for sixteen years. The Tengu taught him how to control his ability to bend the air with his wings, and to fly. That was not all the knowledge that they passed onto him however, he was also taught how to relief aches in the body by using pins as well to use the pins for defense to pressure points in the body. He also learned how to hold a brush and read and write. He picked up the ability to draw and paint with ink on his own. He journeyed further into the Tengu mountain in search for some new amazing sight he could see for inspiration to paint. Finding a Cherry blossom tree he settled down to paint it, unknowingly a storm was approaching and teenage crane boy was caught in it. Trying to use his ability to bend the wind was useless, the winds were too strong for him to control. Swept away and tossed into a far forest.

When Izaya woke he was caught in a tree, it was easy for him to get out and land safely with the calm wind now. The Tengu mountain was easy to see in the distance thanks to it's size, however, home was not where he was heading. He could see a village and approached. Their cultures seemed the same but there were things he had never seen before. This was the first time he had left the Tengu mountain since it was forbidden to do so. Yet there were so many things he hadn't seen before. Amazing foods, strange dances and story telling. The one that caught his eye the most was a man putting a needle into someone's back, but it was not to relieve pain it was to make art on the man's skin. Bewildered but Amazed Izaya stayed for several hours with the tattoo artist and the man getting tattooed. Luckily for Izaya the man was friendly and talked Izaya all about it.

As it began to get dark Izaya flew home back to the Tengu mountain. Excitedly he retrieved his puncturing needles and ink to attempt to give himself a tattoo on his hip. The Leader Tengu had come to his home to see to his well being because he was missing only for Izaya to show him his this test tattoo and to tell him of his discoveries of that day. Unfortunately for Izaya's excitement he was scolded and told to never go back and to never mark his body again. Next time he left he would be banned from the Tengu mountain. Izaya had spent another month on the Tengu mountain and all he could think of was how amazing it would be to see your own art and creation on another's body. How he wanted to go back and discover more. The Tengu mountain was Peaceful but boring and nothing ever changed not after all these years. Even elders that were old when he was a small child had aged much, not even after all that time. In the end he had packed his things and turned his back on the Tengu village. There were more exciting things out there.

Returning to the village from before he found the man that did the tattoos and was taken under his wing. This man became more of a father figure to Izaya, the two spent several months together. They gained more customers and people even came to seek them out. Moving on from the small hay shack they moved to a more populated city and set up their own shop. Now Izaya was Twenty years old and spent five years with this man, their business was doing very well until a bad year of harvest and drought. No one was coming to get a tattoo because with such little food and so much hunger why would they? They were losing money and his Father like figure was becoming very ill. Before a year was up the man had passed away and left Izaya on his own. Instead of mourning for long he began to plan his next move. Staying in this town meant he was likely to get sick and die too. Moving from city to city he found it difficult to find business without an actual shop or building to get it done in.

Luck was with him when he was noticed by another tattoo Artist and was hired. Izaya spent years working here, building up his work and reputation. Moving to a busy large city. He got a lot of experience here and earned a lot of money as well. By the time he was twenty Six he felt he wanted a change. Instead of moving to a different city he decided to move to a more peaceful town. He found a lovely Festival town by a lake, full of nature and with a nostalgic mountain nearby. Mizuyama it was called. Here he set up his home with a side attachment for his tattoo and Pin acupuncture shop. Now instead of simply continuing his passions he has the desire to pass on his knowledge like that man once had.

Extras:

-The beads in his outfit are actually glass, be careful he might get mad if you break them.

-He doesn't mind his wings being touched but not if they're tugged or feathers are pulled.

-When he is not flying or working he usually has a kimono hung around his shoulders (arms not in the sleeves)
