A beautiful portrait and taken from a good low angle too which adds a lot to the shot.

I like the forward paw as it offsets what could have been to rigid a pose.

On a negative note however there appears to be something not quite right about the eye as we see it on the right , it seems blurry and lacks contrast , it gives the appearance that the dog had a cateract .

I never make such points without finding out if the fault can be remedied and in Photoshop I managed to solve it.....try the following :-

Using either the lasso or the eliptical selection tool encompass the eye area , next select image > adjustment > replace colour. Using the eye dropper select the lightest part of the dull glint in the eye. Now move the fuzziness and lightness sliders both to 90 , click ok and then deselect the encompassed area. Job done .

Lovely dog , lovely pic !

Thank you for the constructiv critisism.. Not so often to see that anymore. Yeha it is kind of blurry, since she never stands still .. But thanks for the tips, and i will try that out as soon as i can Maybe ill post a new version of this one

Hi ' I'm so pleased you read it as meant ( many don't ) , if you follow the instructions be sure to only encompass the circle of the eye and not any of the surrounding fur otherwise you won't get the same effect .

Alternatively I could do it for you and upload to one of my folders for you to retrive it. Then you could simply replace the original ( edit deviation) with the edited copy to retain your existing faves and comments.

.. Of course... Constructiv critisism is a great way to improve in my opinion.. Well ive tried what you said about the process in photoshop.. But the only thing i get is a totaly white "softbox-track" in her eye.. And that didnt look very good imo.. But if you want you can just download the file, edit it and put it in a folder for me to see

Hi again, job done , if you go to my animals folder in my gallery you can download it from there .

Please let me know when you have it so I can remove it to avoid undue faves , comments etc .
