I suck at picking titles...

Animazement this year was epic, I had so much fun cosplaying with friends and meeting new people, I have to find they're DA's. This cosplay was awesome and a pain at the same time, fun to wear but hard to wear, I couldn't see anything out of that mask and it was kind of stuffy but well worth it.
I've been working on bits and pieces of this cosplay since I decided to do it last year at AZ, so there's not really a set time of completion, but it's had a fair amount invested in it. I will definitely bring this back to later conventions.

Cosplay Info:
(This is mostly me just prattling on, feel free to pretend you never saw it)

Hat - The hat is completely hand sewn, it is polyester with an inside layer of a really thin foam so it doesn't just hang off my head and droop in my eyes. The balls at the end of the hat points are Styrofoam with a layer of paper clay, and then spray painted. I attached them with a needle and fishing line to the hat.

Vest - the vest is sown from the pattern of an old shirt, the black w/white dots fabric was bought but I had to hand paint the black dots on the white fabric. The fluff around the collar is a feather boa thing I got and it's hot glued on, the button on the front was made of Sculpy Ultralight and it is also hot glued on.

Sleeves - Are separate from the the vest, simple really, I sewed a huge sleeve and then hand sewed some elastic at the top end to keep it from slipping.

Mask's - The white mask was bought, painted white, then I cut out the mouth and hot glued the black fabric to the interior. The silver one was made using DAS Modeling clay and is actually the second one that was made, the details are paper clay and the whole thing was given a couple coats of glue for durability. Then it was spray painted silver and weathered with black paint and a paint brush. It's attached to the white mask with, you guessed it, more hot glue.

Shorts - I was doubting myself on weather these shorts where going to work out, but they turned out fine, wearable if nothing else. They are sewn with an interfacing of a thick white fabric because that black&white fabric is really thin and you could see my boxers... There is elastic hand sewn in the top waistline and bottom of each leg. And the ribbons where made and then hot glued on the sides.(I don't know if you can really see them in this picture)

Shoes - The base shoe is a pair of Demonia sandals my sister had laying around but they where to big for her so she let me use them. The boot covers are made of Pleather.

Cane and Skull - The skull was a prop from Halloween painted just like the silver mask, And the cane was spray painted, the chain is hot glued(jeez), I made the cross charm and attached it and the bell with some wire.

And that about sums it up, I hope you enjoyed, or at the very least...didn't die of boredom... I may or may not do a "cosplay info" for all of my coplays, we'll see.
