Ok, see... maybe I need to give this pairing another try but it's difficult for me.
See, I shipped Kevin and Gwen back in the original Ben 10 series. It just seemed obvious to me. And cool.
Then I watched the pilot episode of "Alien Force."
Cripes! Anakin and Padme had better romantic dialog in "Attack of the Clones!" And it came out of nowhere! It was like "well, the fans seem to want this so we better put these two together." I wasn't able to watch any episode after that.

That's a shame...because there were some great episodes after that. Their dialog got better over the first few. The first 3/4 of Season One ended up great. The last three or four episodes were...a little lackluster, but so far all of Season 2 has been great.
The most recent one, Save The Last Dance was great. It shows Kevin actually trying to be romantic.
