In honor of the new, re-release of The Nightmare Before Christmas and the official start of the Halloween Season (a.k.a. when the Halloween Adventure store opens in my area), I present to you the first in a series: Before The Nightmare Before Christmas!

While rewatching the film, my mom asked what I thought Halloween town would've been like in the years before the movie starts and these drawings are my idle speculation.

Next up, it's everyone's favorite future gambler - Little Oogie Boogie! Dressed similarly to the zombie boy in the film (not really sure why, he just needed something to make him look less like his adult-self), he's working of his magnificent collection of bugs!

I have plans to place all of these series pieces in a scene of Halloweentown Square, but we'll see how that works out. My goal would be to have it all but together by Halloween, but knowing me, that may be too much to hope for, lol!
