It feels so good.
The blood on my hands,
The screaming others do,
The way my hands hurt from a killing.
The feelings I feel when I begin and finish the killing,
And how I love the way people say that they can win this fight.
But I guess they were wrong.
Have you ever had this feeling before?
Or maybe, ever done this before?
It feels good.
You should try it.
But the thing is,
I want to stop,
For the ones I love.
But I cannot stop.
So last night,
I handcuffed myself to the railing on the wall,
And waited until morning,
When I go back to normal.
But I broke out and…
And…
I did it again.
Everyday my best friend would come and visit me,
Not being afraid of what I am.
Sometimes she is…
But that’s only if I have a knife nearby.
“Don’t forget who you are… and remember that I’ll always be here for you.”
I remember her say last night after I came back from the killing.
I smiled the best I could,
Since my mouth was tied up.
She hugged me and I hugged back.
“I’ll try and promise to stop killing… for you, Isabella…”
I say after we part.
She smiles,
And I know she doesn’t believe me.
“…I just need help…”
I whispered.
She smiled more and hugged me again,
Then she waved goodbye and she left.
Which made me wait for her tomorrow…
