Just my entry into 's music contest. I chose to do mine on the song by Nelly Furtado (Feat. Juarez), "Te Busque". Personally, the line that obviously stood out to me most was "Devil Cut off my Wings", but then, I put Thymel there to symbolise Saik's light, and the support she relies on to keep going from him, even if he doesn't realise it. Saik really suits this song, because she was pretty much lost in relation to socilisation and her own personal goals until she met Thymel. He really straihtened her out from the scared little kid she had been when she first joined the military. And though she seems to have fallen far, in a way, she has also raised herself and now does things for herself, not for other people. Saik's found her guiding light, even though she's in the dark.Also thought I'd add that I get a really blue vibe from that song.

Wonderful. You express so much through her pose. She looks so hurt and fragile, seeking protection in her own body, her only halt. The colours look very, very cold, underlining the feeling you get when looking at Saik sitting there like this.
A detail I also like a lot: you thought about the water breaking the light and drew the part under water with these thought in mind!^^ Awesome!

It was my first serious attempt at water, so I was pretty happy with how everythign came out and I tried to get it looking right keeping things like that in mind.

i like how despite her body being half submerged in water, it is still visible, like the "camera" was put halfway inside the water.
i also like the smaller character in the background looking at her, it gives an interesting look to the composition.

I tend to think in terms of film references rahter than comics, so I'm glad I managed to amke it look like that camera shot.

i always think that comics are nothing more than movies on a different media. one would argue that there is no soundtrack, movement or voice acting, but if a comic is well done, it looks just like a movie. i don't know if this made sense, i just wanted to say it XP

hmmm, well i think the ghost like figure would look a tad better if it was pushed to the right, and the canvas size extended, if, at least 50 pixels, but, that's just me
