Did this a while ago and just now got around to... well, photographing it. It's too big to go in the scanner. D:So glad I have a really nice camera to get it to look at least decent... not that it really does. I'm so bad at painting! D: It's haaard.
Anyway, really old crappy acrylic paints on paper that is not near heavy enough for it + digital enhancement. Lawllawl I am useless without my photoshop.
Only thing I remember about this one is putting down the first couple colors and going, "Aw man I really need this specific color that I don't have, man it sucks not having enough of these paints.... waitaminnut.
YOU CAN MIX PAINT!!!"
I was very triumphant about this.
I have been working with markers for too long.

Lawl mixin.
There's a really nice movement to this, especially at the crests of the waves. They look like they're just gonna keep rolling and crashing and breaking. Also the different colours look really good together, just like light filtering through the waves as they crash.

It kind of reminds me of that japanese painting, called "the wave". At least I think that's what its called. Of course, this isn't the same exact thing.. just reminds me.
Uhm, I just woke up so excuse my incoherent spouting. when I realized I could mix paint I got super excited. Especially because I could mix orange and white and come out with a nice skin tone. Of course, at the time, all my characters were a lot more... peachieer...
