So ~fennet won first prize in my picture of a song contest.
The winners where chosen in January 09...
It took her until now to decide what she wanted for her prize.
Well I'm happy in a way because I probably wouldn't have been able to do this back in January... I'm very proud of it. X3
Anyways here's Daisuke (the flamey one) and Kris (the icy one) having an epic battle. Not sure why. Not sure where... an ice cave somewhere... XD

Definately epic. This is one of your best pictures. I love the way the glow around each of them is reflected on the pointy rocks. The expressions and fur are done wonderfully. I like the way that Daisuke's fur looks like it's coming off in flames in one place. Excellent job!!!

And the aura around Kris.
I never got how you did that aura effect
I've tried it plenty of times with a soft brush but it turns out all clumpy and opaque >_>
And the fire effect looks awesome too

lol well I make a new layer and go over it with the color and then I use the smudge tool to make it look... wispy and aura-y... and then I use a soft eraser in the middle so it's more opaque around the edges.

OMG the tail is my favorite! I love how you drew the little bits of flame coming off of the tail! looks awesome!
