I am reading the book now, and this picture makes me want to go and read pages and pages til I fall asleep, for I am pretty sure the creativity of the book inspired creativity in this.

Wow - your painting and depiction of Mosca is so brilliant! Gorgeous work - I especially like the inclusion of the little goodman statues (I think they were called?)
I adore Frances Hardinge style of writing and this book. It's so great to see such lovely artwork of it

Finally, someone eklse who knows about it. I've been earching this site for signs of other fans forever. Fandom aside, you did an excelent job. I like how well it matched with the waqy things actualy were with the book. No rose colored glasses for a truely prominent and different story. You captured it's essence wonderfully.

aaaah this is so beautiful, i love the statues and designs to the left AND I LOVE THE COLORS and the
i cant explain it but the colors are really amazing, you always keep them so bright and yet kind of...toned down I DUNOES but its magical.
the detail on the patterns makes everything right in the world
