Here is the next request done, the OC from Rotorix !I really like this pony, it's also the first time I have drawn a colt...but I love his hair in general, a very cool OC imo.
Also before you ask, yes, I get my colouration inspiration from the wonderful Koveliana, since it is so much fun to colour the ponies (especially when you do simple or no backgrounds) in a shiny and bright way. So go and visit her! Still do my ponies in a way different way so that those works also get my own touch, of course! Soon I will try to do a big picutre with Discord and Celestia where I have to try out a different colouration style, since those shiny colours don't really fit with a detailed background. But I am brabbling too much.

Sometimes people only see the image, but a real artist sees the detail, the colourpallete, the shades and each place where the pencil drew lines. I don't only see art, I feel it.
And what I can tell from your work, is that you deserve a hella lot more praise than you might think

But you are right, now that I started to paint digital and can more see the progress in it and how it is made compared to my 14 year old self who had no idea how those programs worked.
The best thing about being an artist is to see your improvement...But I wish I started digital Painting way earlier, since I had a chance, but no interest...I was a bit ingorant back then :/
That is very nice of you! But I still need to learn how to draw in other styles in terms of colouring or to draw proper backgrounds...but I will still do that! I can't do black backgrounds all the time xD

When it comes to art I controll most techniques and styles, but the ones I draw the most are the ones I feel comfortable with.
Someone was pulling my art down telling me I should draw real horses instead and realistic humans, truth is.. I can do that but I don't want to because the cartoony style ponies are more fun to draw.
Art is up to yourself what you want to create, if you want to prove yourself to others you should follow their lead and draw what they want. But if you want to be happy with your art draw what YOU want instead. It depends on the person and what you feel comfortable with. The middle line is always posting your practise sketches for backgrounds or such so you can show what you're capable off. ^^

Mhh, I can't do that much styles sinces I felt pretty early that those weren't my cup of tea, since then I didn't improve on them, so I'm not good in some styles like realism or portraits.
But other people really shouldn't anyone what to draw, that is just cutting the free will of an artist. I mean, I accepts all those strange fetish and smut art as long as they don't come across people who don't want to see this, some of those could harm younger audience but still, they are ok to do it. Just have some respect for others. ^^
You are right, sometimes I like to draw pictures for the others like request or commissions and stuff, sometimes I just want to draw some fanarts of characters I like or completely new stuff. As long as you are happy with your process of work, it's all good.

Mh...I only have a ponysona of myself which i made some years ago..but I never made actual coloured art of her nor I reworked on her since then.
