Oh ho ho, bonus day. I sat down, looked at my list of things to-do today, and realized it was mostly done or put-off-able. So, I looked at my list of art ideas, and started on the top of the list of additional MLP art I've wanted to do outside the scope of the daily training grounds on Equestria Daily. This was one of them, and what a surprise, another Star Wars crossover.

The Grand (Galloping?) Army of the Republic, cloned from a single Bounty Hunter pony and trained for nothing but combat. In place of a cutie mark, they are all branded upon 'birth' with a serial number and rank. But many of these ponies have begun to develop personalities and identities, taking to tatooing or dying their flanks with additional symbols which they feel represent them better, and taking names aside from there assigned numbers.

I spent a lot of time with this one too, it was really important for me to get the armor looking good and accurate, at least, as accurate as it can be equipped on a pony, and posed out from a side view and from straight on in order to create the legions arrayed behind our lone warrior here. I know that the chest plate would be on the ponies belly for the straight on shot, if I lined it up right, but I thought it was cooler to see the plating lined up straight ahead.
