“I said last night was goodbye, not the last time,” she replied. Her grip tightened in the dark cotton of his shirt as they met beneath the sun-dappled boughs.
“This is unwise,” he murmured, but couldn’t tear his eyes from her lips.
“But not unwanted,” she breathed and closed her eyes.
In spite of his best intentions Itachi couldn’t stop himself from lowering his lips to Sakura’s soft ones. He didn’t remember when his hand reached out to stroke her hip possessively and arch her back, making her mewl softly in her throat as his grip tightened.
—This wouldn’t be their last time, either.
