A pony representation of the Fool from Robin Hobb's novels (okay, technically just the Assassin trilogy). He's a gift for the lovely Theo, and I'll be shipping him out shortly.The poorly-made jester outfit can be removed, and the symbol's a massive tangle of dragons--based on his tattoo in the books. The eyes are repainted by hand and his hair is lovely nylon hair ("virgin snow," I believe) from dollyhair.com.
This is my first non-experimental My Little Pony customization, and I think I'm relatively pleased with it. I haven't been satisfied with any writings or drawings as of late, so I thought it was time to find a new hobby. Naturally, I turned to mutilating the most beloved toys of my childhood. I enjoyed the process of making the Fool so much that I have every intention of making more custom ponies.

He's gorgeous, love, you know that... Well, you'd know it if someone else made him, because we can't truly appreciate our own work--the novelty is gone from it, because we've done all the work and stared at it for hours and picked it to pieces to find out how to improve it--and we're just..us, you and I. XD
