Description
After being asked how to use downloaded brushes so often, I thought I'd make a proper tutorial.Hope it helps!

I downloaded some brush and I did as the tutorial said, but when I click load brushes and look for the brushes it never shows them! It's a totally different story when I look them up normally and not on photoshop, they show up there!
Just not when I look for them to load IN photoshop, any help? :C

while im commenting on your genious... do you knwo how on earth i get a picture ontho the little picture that aprear next yto your comment and shizz?? coz ive tryed rezising pictures of myne but eaither im doing it wrong or... im doing it wrong coz i wont work! !?

Ok so I don't know how far you got so i'll start at the beginning:
click on your name at the top of the page, then click on 'settings'.
In the new page that opens click on 'identity' on the far right and then click on the 'change avatar' button.
Then you click 'add a file..' and find your pic
your picture needs to be 50 pixels wide and 50 pixels tall. You can resize an image you already have in photoshop by clicking on 'image' then 'image size' and typing in those dimensions.
You should also make sure you save it as a jpeg (not a .psd photoshop file or anything).
Then it should upload just fine!
And then don't forget to click 'ok' at the bottom of that screen to save your changes (thats where i went wrong the first time

ITS AWESOME!!! but when i clicked the file for it to load, it told me that it wasn't compatible with this version of Photoshop...why?

What version of photoshop are you running?
if you have an older version of photoshop than the one the brushes were made in, it could cause compatibility issues.
try loading brushes that you know were made in the same version of photoshop as yours. If you cant find any, try making a brush yourself and loading that (see my making brushes tutorial!)
