Kindly featured here: Getting a grip on 2015Hey everyone
Well 2015 has to go down as a tough year. Many of my friends have been and still are experiencing difficult times to say the least. Sad to say I expect to lose two friends before many more months have passed. They are both younger than me and are lovely people. For both it has come out of the blue. Their families are having to cope with the knowledge they will lose them and they, themselves have to cope with the knowledge that their time is running out. Desperately sad for everyone touched by this. You think you have years ahead of you but that can change in an instant.
The purpose of this is not to bring you down however. It is just to remind you that life is precious. I have other friends who have problems to deal with right now too. I want to be the best friend I can but I seem to be worrying so much about them that I am forgetting how to simply be a good friend. Worrying only gets you so far. You have to do more than that.
