"The Treasure-hermit hides i ball like treasures (golf ball,billard ball…). The ball is flipped to the side where you can’t see the hole, but as soon as your pikmin trie to get the treasure, it will release a poisonous explosion knocking all pikmin away and giving them a poison effect(except whites of course). The treasure-hermit itself is a big insect with mantis like claws. It only shows its upper body and hides the rest in the ball. It’s mostly black but it also has some cyan spots (because it’s a poison enemy). After you kill it, the ball will flip to the side and all of its babies come out of the hole. The babies are similar to the male sheergrub but they’re faster and eat slower. There will also be another poisonous cloud released, wich was stored in the ball to protect the babies. If you attack it with the Oachi rush, it’ll fall out of the ball and the babies with the poisonous cloud will be released. It will then try to crawl back into the ball and take the kids in (It’s helpless while crawling back so use that as your chance).
