“I’ll take this.” Rey slowly took Ben’s blaster and clipped it next to her lightsabers to avoid any further misunderstandings, but it only confused Finn even more.
“There is no way he gets on this ship!” Finn spoke up, his blaster still ready to fire. The ground split into tiny pieces.
“Finn, there is no time for this now!” Jannah exclaimed from behind, seeing the danger the two were in evolve right in front of her eyes. She was worried of how blind Finn could be to not see it as well
“Are you kidding me? He’ll have us all killed!” Finn shouted over the sound of his charging blaster. “You know what he did to you and your people.” His arms were shaking against his will, but he was being serious. One wrong move and Ren was dead. Either he was going to be shot any moment, or he would disappear through the cracks in the ground for good, which would grow wider and deeper any second. If Jannah did not act now, neither Ren nor Rey would board the ship.

“I know,” Jannah laid her hand on to his shoulder. “But killing him won’t change anything. This is not what you swore to stand up for, Finn.” His whole body was tensed, afraid of losing control over the situation. [...]
