Nice art and interesting panel lay out. I love the character design.

I think the problem lies with the translation and story telling, the English is a bit rough with punctuation and tense mistakes, are you using a translator?

But otherwise I think the combination of novel style introduction and comic is intriguing ^^

Первое сообщение: не The were killed, a They were killed. Чуть дальше: не war begun, а war begin. А в следующем предложении нужно сказуемое. Тогда оно будет лучше выглядеть. Her children were the firs victims.
Последнее сообщение: не this, a him. А вот с предложением условия я не помню, но мне не нравиться "would have died". Следующее предложение просто не звучит. Думаю, нужно вместо has lost поставить had lost. Не begun, a bigan. Следующее предложение аналогично с глаголом.
Иоладна, ты сама переводила или ты попросила того человека, с кем переводила прошлый комикс?
