Finally something fan art'ish!
I heard something down the line of my MLP:FiM info searching, that Hasbro owned the rights to the D&D Monster Manuals[?] So! I had a thought, that once I got better at this Gimp thing, I'd start portraying my favorite classic D&D monsters in a MLP:FiM style.
I give you, Fluttershy in a staring contest with a Beholder. I will admit, I love Fluttershy's hair, it's so fun and soft looking *Brushybrushy*
I may or may not be a horrible person for this, at least no one's testing. Enjoi

Art wise, I'm glad you put some flow and line thickness-variety to Fluttershy's tail and other place throughout the piece. Really adds a lot to the piece.

Thanks! Definitely learning a bit more on line thickness control, solid lines of a single thickness make the picture look less dynamic in my opinion lol

Fluttershy has repelled the stare of a cockatrice in canon, and in the Ponyverse it seems that thing has no save (killer GM). I would be careful if I was the beholder, and fire off several rays at once.
Of course, the main eye of a beholder shuts down magic, and she is standing in its main ray... yeah, I got nothing.
